Interesting facts about Japanese family car

Family car segment has always been very interesting to all producers. This class of cars must meet many standards. Of course, the most important are rules related to safety. Each company performs hundreds of tests to make sure the car is safe to use. Modern cars have specially designed the front of the car. This part of the car has to amortize the shot, so that most of the kinetic energy received on themselves. This is solved in a way that the sheet metal is bent, the engine falls down, so it will not hurt people in the car.

First of all, family cars have to be comfortable to drive. Children can become very nervous if the ride uncomfortable. Thus, the dampers must be excellent. Seats have to be comfortable, and many models come with seats for children. With the great efforts of the whole community, the number of children died in traffic is drastically reduced.

Japan has a long tradition of family cars. In today’s market the most popular models are: Toyota Mark X, Mazda 6, Honda Accord, Honda Inspire. All of these models are characterized by a strong engine and great mobility.

Power engine in these devices ranges from 150hp to 200hp. Only 20 years ago, the family car had several weaker engines. The reason was that the fuel consumption at that time were higher than today. Also, the big advantage was made in alloy production technology. Today’s family car is a lot easier than 20 years ago.

Japanese cars have always been known for low fuel consumption. Usually, the combined fuel consumption of the listed models ranges from 28 to 34 mpg. This is much better than the family WV models (Passat and Golf for example) or from all US models.

Problems with tax quote in Japan

Many people made question: why Japanese cars are always shorter than 15.4 ft and narrower than 5.9 ft. The Japanese tax system is for much more stringent than in other countries. In Japan, the limit for the higher rates of taxation is described with dimensions of the car and engine displacement. So, in order to pay less tax, it is necessary that the car’s engine has less than 2l. This fact has led to the need to develop models which have a small engine displacement and high power. Only family models which are designed for export come out of these limits.

The model that should lead to new breakthroughs in the market is the 2018 Honda Accord. According to the announcement, it will appear at the end of 2017 years. Why will this model be interesting? First of all, it is because it will have a significantly better mpg than previous models. As we found out, Honda these days cease production of hybrid models of Accord automobiles.

On the other hand, Toyota announced that it will increase its efforts in designing cars with a fuel cell.

Intimidated By Successful Women In Pricey Autos?

I truly believe that most men are immensely intimidated by women driving expensive autos such as Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Porsche.

Men like to think of themselves as “caretakers” and when they see a successful, powerful woman driving an expensive automobile it threatens their masculinity and they can’t seem to handle it. A lot of them will become spiteful and make assumptions like “It’s probably her father’s car” or “Her family brought it for her” or “She probably has a rich husband”. Incorrect on all counts; I actually paid for my luxury car in CASH, with money I earned from my own business (which was very successful for many years).

Personally, I have encountered drastic differences in the way that I am treated depending on what car I drive. When I used to drive an older early 90’s model Honda Accord guys used to try to talk to me all the time when I was driving. Now that I drive a luxury car, it really seems like everyone is super intimidated by me. Especially if my car is nicer than theirs! (Not that it matters, but most of the time, it is!) As a successful and independent woman, I don’t care at all what kind of car a guy drives; I could care less to be honest.

Let’s take a look at a high performance luxury car; take the Infiniti G37 for example. I figure most men would be quite intimidated by a woman driving it because the G37 is generally thought of as a very powerful and high performance car. The engine is six cylinder 3.7 Liter 330hp engine which is a lot more powerful than the average car. Pricing for the G37 starts at around $32k.

I have actually heard some guys state on internet message boards that powerful cars like Mercedes AMG, Porsche’s and Aston Martin’s are “wasted” on female drivers because apparently we are “afraid” to push the car to its limit by driving fast. What a bunch of nonsense! I have seen plenty of women “floor it” and hit very high speeds. Just because we are females doesn’t mean we can’t fully appreciate top cars. Anyone can appreciate the “performance” aspect of a car and really ride it hard on the freeway.

Now let’s look at an auto that is completely different; the Accord by Honda. Standard engine is a V4 with 190 hp. The Accord has a solid reputation for being a durable, reliable and efficient auto. Pricing starts at around $21k.

Beginning of the story

I’m reading through Matthew and today is chapter 2…we all know the story.  The Magi come to visit the newborn King and run into Herod.  They go to worship and then go home a different route…and all is well.  They’re obedient…God is honored…and everyone is happy.  Oops…maybe not.  Actually the Magi are obedient and soon after parents all over the city are crying out in heartache as their baby boys are killed.  This isn’t the way it’s supposed to work.  We often hear said that “the safest place is in the center of God’s will”.  This is usually stated from a nice, safe,  air-conditioned worship center located in the heart of the bible belt. The truth is…being obedient to God always has a price…the question is who will pay it?

Joseph and Mary were obedient…the Magi were obedient and yet it was unknown families that paid the price.  Usually the price isn’t as severe as death…usually it’s more manageable.  Right now we’re loving where we are…loving our city…loving our life. Sure we do without our favorite restaurants and favorite snacks…but for us this is our life.  The price for our obedience is often paid for by our families in the US.  They don’t quite understand why we have to live this life.  They miss us…the miss the grandkids.  They don’t see us on birthdays or Christmas…they don’t get to come to sports activities or dance recitals. They pay the price.

What an interesting way to start the story of Jesus….a lineage that’s less than stellar…an unmarried, young mother…ridicule…gossiping mouths as they see pregnant Mary….a venomous king. There’s no fanfare…no royal reception. The story begins with a strong sense of foreshadowing…this is truly God stepping into humanity…into the thick of the human condition.  What a beautiful story!
